What this site collects, and what it doesn't

BYBRIANADAM is a small, public Build — not an ad-supported business. This page is a plain-English account of what happens when you visit, subscribe, or use Mia.

Analytics

This site uses Plausible to collect aggregate analytics — things like total page views and which section a visitor came from. This site does not use advertising pixels, device or browser fingerprinting, or cross-site behavioral tracking. Plausible's own handling of the data it collects is described in Plausible's data policy.

Subscribing

The Subscribe form on the homepage is handled by Buttondown, a third-party email service. If you subscribe, Buttondown processes the email address you submit, and may also process technical or email-engagement information (such as opens or link clicks) according to Buttondown's own configured settings for this account. BYBRIANADAM uses your email address to send the episodes, AI Lab updates, and archive material described on the homepage, and does not sell or rent your email address to third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email you receive. Buttondown's own data practices are described in Buttondown's privacy policy.

Mia

Mia is an interface preview, not a live AI assistant. The only thing Mia stores is a single flag in your own browser's local storage, so her one-time introduction doesn't reopen on every visit. That flag never leaves your browser — it is not sent to any server.

What this site doesn't do

No accounts, no passwords, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, no cross-site behavioral tracking, no third-party services beyond the two named above.
